Windows NT users:
Voodoo II drivers for Windows NT, generate a "Mapmem driver
initialization failed" error when more than one application
tries to use the 3Dfx hardware. There seems to be no way to
avoid this error. As a result, you cannot preview VoodooLights
or open the Control panel (Settings) directly from Display Properties,
because the Voodoo2 control panel already has taken the 3Dfx card.
One solution is to preview or access the VoodooLights control panel by
using the shortcuts provided in the Start Menu. (with Display Properties closed)
By disabling the "3DinWindow" feature of the VoodooLights control panel
it is possible to use "Settings" button from Display Properties. Use the
registry scripts enable and disable that feature.
